Dr. Keyur D. Bhatt received his bachelor’s in chemistry and Masters of Science in Pharmaceutical/Organic Chemistry from the Sardar Patel University, Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India in 2008 after which he worked as a Chemist at Asian Paints Ltd. for one year till 2009. During his Ph. D (2009-13) from Department of Chemistry Gujarat University, Ahmedabad Gujarat. He served 4 years as a visiting/Guest lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. After Ph.D he joined the Head, Chemistry Department, C. U. Shah University, Surendranagar in 2013 and After that he joined Head, Department of Chemistry, Mehsana Urban Institute of Science, Ganpat University from June 2017 to March 2020. Currently is working as Associate Dean-Research, Associate Professor and Head of Chemistry Department from March 2020 to till date. He has successfully guided 150+ students through their M.Sc. Dissertation, 7 M. Phil., 8 PhDs completed and 6 Ph. D students working under his supervision at present. He has 11 Indian patents published/Grant, 103 Research articles, 16 Review articles and 16+ books in International Journals to his credit. He has more than 1700+ citations with an h-index of 27. He has Organized, participated, and presented his research work in various National and International Conferences. He is also a Reviews and Editorial Board Members. His area of interest and specialization: To Design Synthesis, Characterization of Supramolecule, Fluorescence sensors and Nanoparticles, after that studied their Ion-binding properties with biological and environmentally important metal ions, Amino acids, DNA etc. Synthesis and characterization of organic molecules, Applications in the field of Metal complexes, Sensor, MOF, Biocatalyst and Nanomaterials.
