Dr. Nihalkumar Pravinbhai Patel is an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department at Ganpat University's Faculty of Science. He has degrees in Chemistry, including an M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. His main focus in research is developing macromolecular/supramolecular receptors for analyte detection. Patel is involved in various research projects and is skilled in using laboratory equipment like UV-visible spectroscopy and Rotary evaporator. He has written over 15+ research articles, contributed to 2 books, and authored a book chapter. He has successfully guided over 20 students in their M.Sc. project work. Besides research, he helps with admissions and participates in college activities such as ChemFest and National Science Day celebrations. He's also part of Satarang Youth Fest and Guni SciTech Fest 2024. Additionally, Patel is a member of the N.S.S. Unit of FoS and serves on the NAAC Criteria 3 Committee for Research. He is also a team member of the Alumni Association of MUIS known as AAMUIS (Alluminai Associate of MUIS). He organizes events like the "Hands-on Workshop on Docking."
