Dr. Priti is currently serving as Associate Professor in Biotechnology at GUNI-FOS. She holds deep expertise in Environmental Biotechnology, with a specialization in microbial biotechnology, bioactive metabolites, and sustainable energy. Her major areas of work include microbial biofuels, biopesticides, nanofertilizers, CO₂ sequestration, heavy metal remediation, and the bioprospecting of extremophilic microorganisms. She is also deeply committed to mentoring, interdisciplinary collaboration, and fostering bio-entrepreneurship for sustainable development.

Dr. Priti Patel is a highly experienced academician and researcher in the field of Environmental Biotechnology. With a specialization in agricultural Biotechnology, microbial biotechnology, bioactive metabolites, and sustainable energy solutions, she has authored over 35 research papers published in reputed national and international journals, 4 books and Books chapters contributed to numerous scientific conferences, and holds one granted patent. Her research portfolio includes 1 successfully completed funded Research project and 1 ongoing Research project funded by CSIR, India. she is currently leading the Industry Project-ORBIT funded by Techinvention Ltd, which focuses on translational innovations in biotechnology. Additionally, Dr. Priti serves as the Coordinator of the Skill Vigyan Program, supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, a prestigious initiative aimed at strengthening hands-on training and skill development in biotechnology across India.
