The International Conference on Advances in Pure and Applied Mathematics (ICAPAM-2023) held at Ganpat University on October 27th and 28th, 2023, marked a significant achievement in the field of mathematics. With 117 participants hailing from various parts of the world, the conference operated in a hybrid mode, welcoming attendees both in-person and virtually. This two-day event included 107 research paper presentations, organized into 13 different parallel sessions.

The inaugural ceremony, which commenced on the morning of October 27th, featured the presence of renowned mathematicians, both online and offline. Dr. Amit Parikh, Convener of ICAPAM-2023 and Dean of the Faculty of Science at Ganpat University, gave the welcome address. He delineated the conference's objectives, scope, significance and Need of the event ICAPAM-2023. Dr. Daniel Montplaisir, Joint Director General of Ganpat University, underlined the interdisciplinary nature of mathematics and the importance of mentorship and teamwork. Eminent speakers like Dr. Aliakbar (USA) and Dr. V P Saxena (Bhopal) shared their extensive experience. Dr. Aliakbar offered valuable insights into research paper publications and peer reviewing practices. Dr. V P Saxena commended the research work carried out at Ganpat University and emphasized the importance of developing mathematical models tailored to Indian conditions and culture.

Prof. Vithalbhai Patel urged the audience to address mathematical problems and transform their solutions into research articles. The Chief Guest, Prof. M. N. Mehta, stressed the significance of mathematics and its applications. He discussed the importance of mathematical modeling and urgresearchers to apply their solutions to real-world problems, highlighting that universities are recognized by their research activities. Shri Ganpatbhai Patel, Patron-in-Chief & President of Ganpat University, inspired the audience with his message of knowledge sharing and simplifying complex ideas.
