Description
The Women Development Cell of Mehsana Urban Institute of Sciences, Ganpat University organized a webinar on "Let's inspire women Entrepreneurs through STI (Science, Technology and Innovation). The Webinar was held on 16th March, 2021 from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm on Zoom meeting and was streamed live on Facebook. Respected Dr. Megha Bhatt,founder, Sciknow Tech was invited as speaker for this webinar.
The Webinar began at 11 am in the presence of Dr. Amit Parikh, Dean, Faculty of Science and Principal, MUIS, Dr. Priti Patel, Head Biotechnology Department and Coordinator, Women Development Cell, MUIS, Dr. Sucheta Karande, Head, Botany Department, MUIS, Dr. Kavit Mehta, Associate Professor and Coordinator, Placement Cell, MUIS and all the members of the Women Development Cell, MUIS, Ganpat University.
The webinar started with the Video depicting the Student Life and campus of Ganpat. Thereafter, welcome of all the attendees was done on this virtual Platform, Dr. Amit Parikh,delivered the Welcome address which was followed by welcoming the Speaker Dr. Megha Bhatt with Statement of gratitude.
The Webinar witnessed an active participation from all female faculties and students across various colleges in Gujarat. Nearly 450 participants (Faculties and students) joined the webinar virtually.
The Webinar was structured in a PPT with visual impact. During the webinar, it was highlighted that considerable scope exists to develop the entrepreneurial potential of women across the globe and was explained with supporting examples to the participants.
It was a highly informative session which helped everyone imbibe knowledge about the skills to develop Entrepreneur mindset and progress in the field of Science and Technology to bring new innovations. It was very motivating webinar for all the young female participants.
It was very interactive session with an intensive question/answer session at conclusion. Many attendees sent their questions in the chat box during the session. Dr. Sucheta Karande, Head, Botany Department, MUIS, Ganpat University proposed the vote of thanks. Finally we collected feedback form from the participants and e- certificates were issued to all the registered attendees
