Inauguration Ceremony
(Day 1, 16th February, 2022)
SHODH-Student Research Convention 2022 was started with registration and breakfast between 8.30 am to 10.00 am on 16th February, 2022.
- Inaugural function was started at 10.00 am. in Ganpat University Auditorium hall, New MBA building. In this inaugural function Padma Shree Ganpat I Patel PATRON-IN-CHIEF & PRESIDENT, GANPAT UNIVERSITY, Dr. G D Gupta(Director ISF College, Moga), SHRI DIPAK RAI (Ex Vice President (IT), Reliance Industries Pvt. Ltd, Ahmedabad), Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Honorable Pro-chancellor and Director General, Ganpat University. Dr. Amit Patel (Pro Vice chancellor and executive registrar, Ganpat University), Dr. S S Pancholi (Executive Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Scienceand Principal, SKPCPER, Ganpat University). Dr. Amit Parikh (Dean, Faculty of Science and Principal, MUIS, Ganpat University). Dr. Ajay Gupta (Director-Research and Development, Ganpat University) Dr. Paresh Patel, Dean (Faculty of Pharmcy,Chair Person CHAS Ganpat University), Dr. Keyur D. Bhatt Associate Dean-Research and Dr. Bhaswat Chakraborty were remain present.
- Dr. Ajay Gupta gave overview of SHODH 2022. He explained various tracts and scientific programs in detail.
- Dr. S S Pancholi has welcomed and introduced the guest and explained the overview of the event.
- Welcome of Shree Dipal Rai sir was done by dignitaries on the dais.
- CEREMONIAL ADDRESS was delivered BY DR. MAHENDRA SHARMA (Pro-chancellor &Director General, Ganpat University). He encourage students for participation and assure them that university will support projects of students.
- DR. BHASWAT CHAKRABORTY(Emeritus Professor, Ganpat University) gave key note address.
- DR. G D GUPTA (Director ISF College, Moga) had gave speech as chief guest and discusses about dynamics of program.
- SHRI DIPAK RAI explained about how to acquire knowledge and develop professionalism among students.
- Shree GANPAT I. PATEL (DADA) PATRON-IN-CHIEF & PRESIDENT, GANPAT UNIVERSITY) gave presidential address.
- Vote of thanks was delivered by DR. AMIT PARIKH DEAN, FACULTY OF SCIENCE and he thanked to everyone who directly or indirectly make this program grant success.
- Lunch break was from 11.45 am TO 12.30 pm followed by tract wise poster presentation from 12.30 TO 03.30 pm.
Day-2 (17th February 2022)
VALEDICTORY FUNCTION-SHODH-2022
- Sumedha Manda ,Incubation Manager at GUNI-Incubation Centre delivered session on GUNI- Student Startup and Innovation Policy.
- Prof. Remi Mitra ,Chairperson, Centre for Enterpreneurship, Ganpat University delivered session on GUNI Enterpreneurship Policy.
- Dr. Gokul Krishnan, Senior manager, Amul Dairy, Anand delivered his talk on resesrch overview.
- The valedictory ceremony was started at 2:45 pm on Day two afternoon in SHODH 2022.

- The prize distribution ceremony was started at 3 pm to appreciate efforts put in by students and their mentors throughout their endeavour.
- Dignitaries have felicitated winners of different tract by Trophy and certificates.
- Dr. Ajay Gupta sir, Director-Research and Development, Ganpat University gave concluding remarks of the program.
- Winners students gave feedback about SHODH 2022 and thanked to management of Ganpat University for giving them opportunity to present their research.
- The program was ended by National Anthem at 3:45 pm.
Shodh-2022: With a view to inculcating research culture among students, Ganpat University has taken a pioneering initiative to organize Student Research Conventions for the aspiring researchers throughout the University.
Objective:
- Young talent with aptitude
- Augment financial and physical resource through collaboration with different institutes.
- Encourage students for National level competitions.
- Provide proper incentives to enhance the skill of potential students.

- It was knowledge exchange from various eminent speakers/Professors and address to the current scenario of advanced research which will help a research person continue his further research and achieve future endeavors.
- Number of Project registered: 182
- Maximum 3 students in one group along with faculty mentor.
- Number of participations: 413
- Number of faculty mentors: 84
- Number of Institutes: 09
- The projects can be presented in the form of live demonstrations/models/podium (oral) presentation.
- Evaluation of projects by expert jury members along with expert talk of related field from reputed Universities/Institutes/Industries etc.)
- The final selection of projects by oral presentations will be based on following criteria:
- All winners will be awarded with Trophy Awards”. All Participants and Mentors will get certificates.
