How a PhD led me into scientific publishing and medical writing
Dr. Jaymin Parikh's academic journey reflects how research training can open pathways beyond traditional careers in academia. While the journey involved the usual challenges of research—including data collection, revisions, deadlines, and the uncertainty that accompanies every doctoral project—it also helped him develop resilience, discipline, and a structured approach to problem-solving.

Today, Dr. Jaymin Parikh works as a Senior Medical Writer and scientific communications professional, partnering with leading pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations across the globe. His work spans the development of scientific manuscripts, review articles, expert opinion pieces, consensus statements, conference abstracts, posters, oral presentations, publication strategies, and evidence-based medical communications across diverse therapeutic areas.
